Like the physical dimensions but not the look of the Boxster wheels, might give a go to these C2s

First trip

What's better than a type4 engine in the back? 2 Type4s of course! Helped out a friend, one proper reason why you need a Variant :) 400 km trip with zero issues.

PINKBACK goodies

Let's see the goodies I decided to buy this awesome car: 2.0L Type 4 engine with external oil cooler built by GWD (he is one of the bests in Europe). Literally stock with new Solex 40 PDSIT carbs and maybe a little cam (seller can't remember exactly). Not rev happy but a great cruiser with quiet stock muffler and heating cores in place. Run 50.000 kms so far. Kerscher disc brakes front and rear in 5x130, Porsche wheels (6 & 7x16) Bilstein dampers & perfect stance Custom RPM gauge with OEM look Sport steering wheel (32cm, way too small) MK1 Golf / Rabbit GTI seats 3 point belts in the back (useful for the child seat) Stereo with front & rear speakers, external amplifier under the passanger seat Red Hella tail lights Cool stickers (car had a life before!) Again, all of the modifications are in the papers, it is totally street legal as is!

I'm not a Transporter-guy at all and always had a thing with estates, so I focused on 411/412s & Type 3 Variants or Squarebacks as they are called in the US. I realized I will not have any spare time for a project car anymore so the aim was finding something that I can drive and live with as is.  Took me a good 2 years to find an interesting car, and when I say interesting I mean the shape, the extras and, well, the color too...since it is hot P I N K.  This is how she was waiting me next to the dutch-german border in Germany. It is a late model (long-nose) with the latest (2 vent holes in center) dash, also meaning in the thear it has the IRS suspension by default. She was overhauled in 2001 and I have to say the work is rather convincing. The previous owner put a lot of effort and money into it, and did a great job! All the lines are...
